Update

WOW has it really been that long since I looked at this thing!!! LOL Lets just say life is hectic. Kallie is now 3.5 going on 16 I don't know where she comes up with the things she says "Im not your child anymore!" "I thought you loved me" and My favorite "leave me alone" followed by the slamming of her door. Kaitlyn is a happy 16 month old bugging sister every chance she gets making us laugh with her crazy antics. She just started saying lou you (love you) and it melts my heart every time. John recieved his associates in business from university of phoenix this last april and is currently working towards an associates in electronics technology. Iam still running a daycare from our home. and Loving well tolerateing it LOL I would honestly much rather spend all my time and attention on my girls but money dosen't grow on trees!

I'm a big kid now

Were so proud of our little girl! Kallie has now spent a full week in her big girl under roos. She still has the occasional accident, of course, but there have been a couple days with no accidents at all. She has started to let us know when she has to go and is so excited to help flush the potty. Me and John are excited over the prospect of no diapers for six months!!!!

Easter Fun

Our easter fun began on saturday with a trip to Uncle Troy and Aunt Linda's for the Boggess family party. Kallie had lots of fun playing with cousins and hunting eggs in the back yard. Me and John enjoyed the good food and visiting with family. Sunday morning we woke early to see what the bunny had brought, kallie was confused til she found the jelly beans and her new dora dolly. She also got a bubble mower and new swim suit. After a yummy breakfast we layed down for a little nap and woke up three hours later!!! oops i guess we were all tired. Later we went to Grams and Papa husteds. It was really fun when we walked into discover eggs all over they're living room along with two stuffed bunnies and a book all for Kallie. Uncle Tony then joined us for a great shrimp dinner with potatos and deviled eggs (of course). Over all it was a great weekend.

Potty Time

In an effort to potty train Kallie long before the baby comes, me and my mom went to the library to pick up some children's books on the subject. And Wow what a selection there is, at the Sandy library they have all the potty books on there own rack and there has to be at least thirty choices. We choose Once Upon A Potty For Girls its a classic which i probably should of reviewed before because the potty prudence receives looks a lot like a flower pot, hope that doesn't come back to haunt us. Our second pick was A Potty For Me which is really cute with lift the flap pages about a boy not quite ready but after some waiting it finally happens Success! And our third choice which is by far our favorite Tinkle Tinkle Little Tot songs and rhymes for toilet training. I'd now like to share just one of the many little ditty's from this great book..... The Tushy Pushy...You pull your undies down. You take the potty out, You sit your bottom down, and you push to poopy out. You do the tushy pushy til the poop is in the pot. That's what its all about. Now try getting that out of your head. LOL

Time at Grandmas

After a quiet morning, Wednesday, I was informed I wouldn't have D that afternoon. So I quickly decided it was a good day to drive to Salt Lake to visit my parents, Grandma and Grandpa Boggess. Unfortunantly grandpa was out helping Troy in his search for a new mini van. But we sure had fun visiting with grandma including our trip to the library for potty books (see next post) and to the dollar store for Kallie an Easter Bonnet. John joined us after work and we all enjoyed dinner at Johnny Corrinos yum yum.

Phineas and Ferb

HELP! So i made the mistake of introducing John to Disney's Phineas and Ferb, don't get me wrong its a great show and i do enjoy it. But John does tend to get "a little" obsessive. LOL Within a week we had one dvd bought and a new on in the mail plus 27 saved on the DVR. It is a nice change from Family Guy and like i said its a good show, but please i'd like to go one day with out hearing Candace yell MOM and watching the evil doofenshmirtz be out witted by an undercover platypus. Funny but enough is enough.
